Biography: Maria Goodwin, a third-generation San Franciscan, has a masters in writing from the University of San Francisco. Maria moved to Mendocino Country full time in 1991. She came to our writers group with fine credentials and a proven best-selling cookbook Secrets of Salsa - a bilingual cookbook by the Mexican women of Anderson Valley.
In addition to writing, research and editorial services, she also offers conversion of hard copy to computer for editing. For all who have suffered computer crashes or lost discs of material, this conversion saves retyping and other angst over lost files.
First published at age eight (a poem for Wee Wisdom, a children’s magazine) she has been writing ever since – short stories, poetry, and numerous grocery lists. In the writers group, she is attempting to complete a memoir begun long ago.
