Editor’s Note

To work with the writers of this book has been exceptionally challenging. This collective venture adds a unique dimension to the creative task of book production  – the usual ratio is one author plus one editor equals one book! The travel tales of these three individuals are as diverse as their respective destinations and attitudes.  Their views of the world encompass all the elements of the human condition and their storytelling is told from a candid perspective, unflinching and revealing. Those common threads weave a whole cloth that presents the wonder of exploring the world around us and perhaps, in the process, discovering ourselves, reinvigorated and renewed.
